The history of the Velho Barreiro Distillery begins in 1909 with the founding of the sugarcane brandy Tatuzinho in a suburb of Sao Paulo in Brazil. The company invested early in better production capabilities. The distillery is now one of the largest manufacturers in Brazil. The Cachaça Velho Barreiro is exported worldwide.
