NINE LEAVES by Yoshiharu Takeuchi
NINE LEAVES was founded in Shiga Prefecture, next to the ancient capital Kyoto. It is a micro distillery -the founder and distiller Yoshiharu Takeuchi, originally from the auto-parts production industry takes care of everything until shipment on his own. It is made from Japanese yeast for fermentation, Okinawan Muscovado, and ultra-soft water from Shiga which is distilled in Forsythe hand made copper pot stills from Scotland, following the methods similar to that of Single Malt.
Monozukuri: honesty and pride, the qualities that define Japanese craftsmanship is NINE LEAVES’ motto.
Currently NINE LEAVES has CLEAR (white rum), ANGEL’S HALF (matured in American Oak barrels), ALMOST SPRING (aged in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels), and Blended and double matured ENCRYPTED.
In Germany NINE LEAVES is imported by Spirit of Rum.
