Panama Red Overproof Rum rum is meant to invoke the image of Carolina Cansino, born in Panama to wealthy circumstances and inheriting stunning beauty, auburn hair, and a facility for dance and languages.
From the premature demise of a youthful lover, she inherited the barCasca Viejo, which she converted to a nightclub where she, herself, would perform and became known as „Panama Red.“ She served a famous style of rum she blended herself…this particular brand is meant to be an homage and rendition of that famous rum.
Panama Red is blended from rums aged in American Oak ex-bourbon casks distilled from Panamanian sugar cane.
