Rausch family – Passion for Chocolate since 5 generations
Enlightening people with the finest chocolates has been the Rausch family’s mission since 1918. The Rausch philosophy is centered around your tasteful indulgence. In 1998, Jürgen Rausch and his team developed Rausch Plantagen-Schokolade, a range of pure chocolates made from the best fine-flavour plantation cocoas in the world.
Chocolates can be made from bulk- or fine flavor cocoa beans. Retail chocolates are mostly made of bulk cocoas. Adding emulsifier and flavors like Vanilla will give regular chocolates a hint of taste. Fine-flavour cocoa is however the most aromatic cocoa in the world. It makes up only 5% of the world’s cocoa harvest. The growing area and the treatment of the cocoa beans lend each fine cocoa its unique flavor. Rausch generally buys the fine-flavoured cocoa directly from the cocoa farmers. Rausch employees regularly visit the plantations and not only monitor the established quality standards, but also train and develop the cocoa farmers. Rausch also provides technical and financial support for the plantations. It’s the family’s passion to create the best pure chocolate in the world. Rausch’s unique recipes, bring you the full range of characteristic flavors you crave for.
