William Hinton – Rum from Madeira
The Story
William Hinton founded his sugar factory and rum distillery in Madeira in 1845, where he produced the finest rum from carefully selected fresh sugar cane juice. The original know-how passed on the family for generations, until one of his heirs founded the ENM (Engenho Novo da Madeira) and restored the old original alembique still (originally designed to make cognac) to produce the finest ” Rum da Madeira “to produce again.
Thanks to the excellent sugar cane, RUM DA MADEIRA is distilled only once to preserve its taste and the typical freshness.
