This range from ADMIRAL RODNEY celebrates the famous naval victory of Admiral George Rodney over the French at the Battle of the Saintes in 1782, in which the British secured dominance over the Caribbean. The names of the rums in the new range are taken from the ships that distinguished themselves in the battle. HMS Princessa, HMS Royal Oak, and Rodney's flagship HMS Formidable shone in combat and "broke the line" of the French fleet.

The rums of ADMIRAL RODNEY, like the rums of CHAIRMAN’S RESERVE, are also produced in the distillery of the "St. Lucia Distillers". All rums are distilled in a column still.
