RATU are called the mighty warriors in the Fiji Islands. The RATU Fiji Rum is characterized by its distinctive taste. The sugarcane, which grows on nutrient-rich, volcanic soils, is still harvested by hand today. The famous spring water of the Fiji Islands serves as the basis of the distillate. The rums are aged between 5 and 8 years in bourbon barrels made with glowing coconut shells. Due to the comparatively high Angel’s share, which is around 7% in the Fiji Islands, the rum gets its intense aromas.
