KANICHÉ RUMS

Kaniché Rums from Barbados

Kaniché Rums are produced in Barbados, one of the most representative islands in the Caribbean. The Barbados style is very specific. The rums are round, supple and powerful with double ripening – a unique ripening technique. Kaniché Rums are produced by Cognac Ferrand House in France. They first ripen for many years, mostly in young bourbon barrels, in Barbados, in the hot, humid island climate. Once the ripening process is complete, the barrel contents are shipped in full cask strength to Cognac Ferrand’s Château de Bonbonnet. The richness of the flavors and fragrances is preserved. There the liquor is stored again in small oak barrels for a few months to a year. This makes the rum more elegant, finer and rounder.
